PEPCO to raise rates throughout Maryland

Posted on: June 6, 2012

Earlier this year, PEPCO filed for a rate increase with the Maryland Public Service Committee. The rate hike is designed to help PEPCO recover from losses in revenue due to power outages. Montgomery County has intervened in this case and is currently participating through its Special Counsel, and now it’s your turn to comment. The Public Service Committee will be holding a Public Hearing on Monday, June 25 at 7:00pm in the Executive Office Building Cafeteria, 101 Monroe St., Rockville, MD 20850. If you would prefer to submit a written comment, you can send a letter to David J. Collins, Executive Secretary, Maryland Public Service Commission, William Donald Schaefer Tower, 6 St. Paul Street, 16th Floor, Baltimore, Maryland 21202 by Wednesday, June 20. Make sure you reference “Case No. 9286.”

If you would like additional information about this case, you can contact the Public Service Commission athttp://www.psc.state.md.us/ and enter “9286” in the “Case Search” box.
